Job Description
The Vice President, Operational Emissions will lead the strategy, measurement, and reduction of Scope 1,2 and Scope 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across the bank’s global operations, including real estate, data centers, and other facilities. This role ensures compliance with evolving environmental regulations, drives operational decarbonization, and supports the bank’s net-zero commitments. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills to deliver impactful sustainability outcomes.
- Develop and implement a global strategy for measuring, managing, and reducing Scope 1,2 and Scope 3 emissions (excluding financed emissions).
- Identify opportunities for emissions reduction through energy efficiency, renewable energy procurement, fleet optimization, and waste reduction.
- Translate net-zero commitments into actionable operational plans.
- Lead data collection, validation, and analysis for operational emissions in line with the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard.

Job Description
Job Purpose
• Operates in a specialized, highly active and demanding credit environment, managing non-bank lending portfolios with various risk profiles, including Direct Lending, Asset Based Finance (ABF), Mezzanine, distressed and specialty finance using insights from industry sources.
• Shall be part of the transaction team framework and work alongside the Origination & Structuring team from the Bank in Private Credit space, in evaluating proposals for investments through Mashreq Capital Private Credit Fund.
• Recommend to the Investment Committee (IC) any proposal that meets the risk acceptance parameters of the Fund.
• Conducting financial / accounting/market due diligence for prospective Borrowers / Issuers (financial analysis, market analysis, rating reports, industry reports, trends in debt market, soft market circling) in the Private Credit space.
